BRB Books is a new, independent publishing company focused on producing high quality anthologies that promote great work from our writers. We value our writers and want to treat our writers right!
Heather Flyte, owner and publisher, and James Carraghan, editor in chief, are both writers and come to this project with the goal of lifting up and promoting quality work from writers at all stages of their career.
About us
Heather Flyte is a writer, editor, and PhD candidate in English at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. She has worked as a news production editor for a daily newspaper and as a web developer for a marketing company, but believes her time as a bank teller and midnight shift convenience store cashier offered just as much life experience, if not more. She is currently working on her second novel (to be out later this year).
James Carraghan is a writer and collage artist from Pennsylvania. In 2024, he published A Guided Tour Through Hell, a zine collection of weird fiction, as well as Laughing in the Realms of the Unreal, a tribute to artist Henry Darger. His work has been published in Flights of Fantasy, LitHub, Bleed Error, Terse. Journal, The Lizzie Borden House Anthology, and Lured into the Deep, among other publications. He currently drives a library bookmobile, bringing stories to communities without a library of their own. Visit his website at https://librarynevercloses.wordpress.com/ and follow him on Instagram @libraryboy24 for more of his work.
